Question on Polyurethane

I bought a e90 M-Tech splitter from a vendor here and will be picking it up Tues for installation. When I did a "dry" fit, it seemed that the PU was hard and didn't really conform 100%.. my question is if I can use a hair dryer to heat up the urethane to get it to fit better? Thanks!

yes a hairdryer will make it very soft, make sure you don't expose one area too long to the heat, make sure its evenly heated up....The PUR will become very soft and workable
