unknown red warning sign

hey guys, i've tried the search function but i couldnt find anything that applies to wat i'm looking for.
recently i got this red sign that looks like two red S's that overlap each other, i set up an appointment with my service but they want me to wait 4 weeks!

anyways, anyone kno wat this symbol means?

I just looked in the manual, and can't find the symbol you are referring too, that's strange.

vehicle check or your inspection might be up soon. Nothing serious.

Statutory emissions inspection. It was supposed to be disabled on your car. They'll just deactivate the light when you go in for service.

its disabled at some dealers, however others dont disable it while performing the Pre-Deliver Inspection.

NY has an emissions/safety inspection yearly, therefore many NY dealers dont disable the message as its a reminder for the state inspection

If you try to enable it through the tester, it states "Statutory emissions inspection may only be activated in China", so not sure what they do in NY. In Ca we have emissions inspections too and we disable that "feature".
