This is all just ridiculous. I can only assume it was a slow news day which is why someone bothered to write down anything that Prof Susan Jeb said. If I were one of her colleagues, I'd now be bringing a cake in every day just to see if she's true to her word.
Lou Walker obviously has a birthday coming up and is too tight to buy cakes for everyone in the office so wrote the report in the first place.
