Its my understanding the "depo" blacklines are darker than factory?

Can somone clarify?

I think it'll look sexy on dark cars. If you have a bright colored car, go for blacklines.

Still would like a definitive answer and maybe comparision pics of these VS OEM.

I "hear" the DEPO brand is darker. I'd like to be sure. Im sure others would too.

Im a little tired of asking questions about products and getting sales pitches around here.

Maybe Im just a jerk or something but, It seems I get more sales pitches than answers.

You cant tell me all these vendors that sell this stuff havent seen their products next to OEM. Spoilers, tails, etc etc.

If Im going to pay just as much as OEM for something or less than 10% difference, I want to know why the hell I should be paying that much.

Im surprised none of the vendors have OEM blacklines to compare to the depo blacklines? Is it truly that hard to find OEM blacklines....? If anything its a case of laziness. How could one say they are darker and not provide any realistic proof??

See this is my point -

The Depos are runing around 200-220. OEMs are what, $239?

I "hear" the depos are darker, which is what I want. Yet I see no proof of this.

Same with the spoilers. OEM is 180. Primed. Replica spoilers are more or the same?

When I ask why, I get responses of oh we can work on the pricing. Or "carbon fiber is better - get our CF spoiler" Why the hell do I need a CF spoiler on a non race car if Im going to paint match it?

Im not trying to be a jerk I just want to know why I should choose one product over the other.

IMO, the darker blacklines look best on dark cars. For lighter colors, regular blacklines are ftw!

Yours are $200-220.

for...... NON Oem.


if yours are darker, then that is a reason to buy and i would choose them over them OEM. But - If you are selling a non OEM product for a price that OEM can be had for, please show cause as to why they are worth the same price as OEM.
