anyone knocked out their window divider yet on the e92? we all know the asthetic is solid but am seeking insight on mechanical/warantee/pricing implications therein. i was quoted for the job but am unaware of what others are paying and how the work is workin out.

i think if we did that to an e92, it would not only be dangerous in a crash, but it could possibly fail inspection.

Thats a really bad idea. The car was designed from the ground up with a B pillar in place. If you cut it out your cars structure is going to severely marginalized. The mercedes CLK was designed with no B pillar, Benz calls this the pillar-less coupe. You should not attempt to create it.

It would be cheaper to buy an e93, but i have to admit, I love the look of all the windows down and no pillar - definitely 70's muschle car!
