Exclamation Add 75hp 114lb of torque to the 335i motor!!!!

Well you know what this means folks. If the 1/2 is available with the bi-turbo, then you can modify your car with this. Edmunds tested it.

There's a good FAQ on e90post (my site) regarding everything related to the Vishnu upgrade. This covers almost everything you need to know about the development of the system and application. Shiv (owner of Vishnu) is virtually a god at the site

So this is basically a plug-and-play system? Just plug it in and 70+hp extra instantly... that is amazing.

BMW give us the turbo engine in this car

Thats a great system.. Man that biturbo is gonna be fun. That kind of power in a car that weighs 3300 will be plenty of fun. Very cool find .

Pretty much plug and play yes. They'll be shipping these with an installation video too.

Tuners have been able to squeeze great numbers and performance from the twin turbo engine so far. Cant wait until a twin turbo 1er coupe hits the US :headbang:

The twin-turbo 1er would be scary, plain scary. i went to the bmw ultimate drive for cancer on monday. they wouldnt let anyone under 25 drive the 335i coupe, 550i, or 750i. Anything else you could drive including the X5 and Z4's. Imagine the 1. yiiikes. f-a-s-t.

There are also other systems available, also discussed on E90post.com--the Turbo Tuner and the AA Xede...

Regardless of which you pick--you can see how easy it is to upgrade the FI engine to crazy levels for relatively cheap amounts...

whats impressive to me is that all of these aftermarket software systems literally raise the powerband rather than just increasing peak values for marketing purposes. applause. i really wish they could tell me a few of the parameters or which sensor readings that are modified to produce these changes.. just for curiosity's sake..

Shiv is just getting better as well... V2 is coming soon, with the powerband expanded...

As scary as this sounds, it is "possible" on drag radials you'll be able to take a tuned 135i to the drag strip and get kicked out for not having a cage

Hmmm, now how large a tire will fit under the fender wells? Glad I have my own fender rolling tool!

As I understand it the raise the boost from about 8.5 stock to about 13-14 with Procede. Then adjust the timing and a/f ratio to work optimally with the boost. Maybe this isn't the details you wanted but there is plenty of that on the e90post.com forums.

It's about 'area under the curve' on a dyno chart. The more the merrier for us power junkies!

It is also interesting to note that the general trend at BMW is to raise the peak rpm into very high regions to make that increased NA power. While the FI N54B30 is redlined at 7K, a more civilized street motor all around, making all that lovely torque down low where it's usable on the street. It's oft said that we buy horsepower and drive torque.

Have to say a lost a little faith in Shiv when he took what I think was a totally unwarranted dig at the AA exhaust a while back on E90post (Vishnu I believe is no offering a competing product and that was probably the motivation). I was all about the Procede until that point (even having AA in pretty close proximity to my place in FL and having worked with them before), but I'm a big gut feeling about a person kinda guy, and that just didn't sit well with me. Haven't felt the same way about him since.

Unfortunately with success there tends to comes an ever expanding ego. It's too bad, but maybe after a few lost sales he will get it.

He also does not have a good rep in the Subaru arena. I have heard many a story about some shady stuff when I owned my STi. The tuning products are top notch from what I have seen though.

Btw, I emailed Shiv via e90post about the 135i and asked if they would offer something similiar to AA. I expressed my warranty concerns and did not get a response. I lost respect for those guys also. I'll wait for an M1 or BMW sponsored parts. I'm not interested in blowing up my 135i. Thanks.
