BMW PERFORMANCE CATALOG, OR DINAN??

Honestly, I am really looking forward to Dinan and the new "BMW Performance Catalogue" from BMW. I will be looking at ways to differentiate my 135i from others. I understand that there are performance upgrades from PROcede and AA, etc. that offer ABSURD amounts of HP for reasonable cash. They are building there great reputation day by day and thats great. But me being a person in my early 20's, I am not going to dump endless amounts of cash into my 1 series b/c I did something out of warranty. I have other responsibilties and hobbies that require $$$ also.(I come from a large family of BMW's. I know the drill) In the end even if BMW or Dinan offers half the hp at half the price I'm probably going to go for that because of the warranty coverage. In other words, mainly because my ass will be covered somewhat. Both BMW and Dinans software and other upgrades should be out by the end of this year so lets see. Hopefully they will be not too much more than the $1300 PROcede charges for 75hp, 114lb of torque.

THANKS TO ALL WHO ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE AFTERMARKET WORK YOU'VE DONE TO YOUR CURRENT BMW'S

The plus side to the BMW Performance Catalog is that BMW will warranty anything that might fail or fault from their own performance line. Whereas BMW does not not warranty anything the fails or faults due to a Dinan Product(s). There has been a misconception for many years that BMW approved Dinan and therefore would warranty anything that failed due to a Dinan product(s) when in fact this is false. Dinan will cover the bill, not BMW.

BMW AG will continue to add to their Performance line. The after-market tuners have proven that there is a lot of money to be made in the business and BMW frankly got sick of losing out on the cash.

i wouldn't care for the cost unless the payoff isn't worth it .. but if BMW does come into the performance sector with their line up and it's covered under warranty .. then i'm all for it

Be the 1st 135i /w dual gt25R @ 13PSI, i bet ull kill a GTR... I would guess the 135i would have around 600+RWHP. Prolly would have to build up the rear end or somthing to handle that power, clutch, prolly a bunch of other stuff.. but ull beat a GTR for a lot cheaper.

umm screw dinan...they are a gimmick honestly..you should have seen what they had for the E90...their version of an "intake" was some cheap plastic tubing another plastic cover and you had to drill a hole in your stock intake box to fit the tube..meanwhile they charged 500 for those two pieces!!!

Woot for aftermarket parts that don't void your warranty. I love BMW
