All Season Tires 130mph limit
I noticed a 130mph limit with the all season/17in option in the ordering guide. Is that something the dealer's service department can change easily?
I want to order my 135i with 17in/all season for the winter, and have 18in BBS CK with pilot sport 2's for the summer. |

I guess your stuck ordering all seasons from the factory as an option. But, when they wear out I would replace with a performance snow tire like Bridgestone LM-25. Would give much better traction than an all-season.
I plan on ordering my 1 series soon.. and I live near you actually. So, I would not get the car until after the winter here ends. My winter/tire wheel package will be purchased from Tire rack in October. 17in. in 205/50 size I believe. |

They can, but they won't. Or rather they're capable, but not permitted. What's to keep you from putting the H-rated tires back on the car without having them put the 130mph limiter back on as well? It's liability BS, but such is life. Perhaps if you get friendly with the service dept., butter them up some?
