DECISION TIME:

1-liberty state park

(pets allowed, no permit needed, but need to get there early! parking may be issue)

2-Bear mtn in NY state

(best choice but may not be the easiest place to meet, but has great pic places and great bbq places and easy access and great parking)

3-Watchung reservation in nj

(off of 78 about 25 mins from nyc, been there alot for subbie meets and lots of area to chill and they have grills there so all we need is charcoal and food)

I figure a bunch of us are within the 60 mile radius of the city judging by profiles. Asumming we have our cars April 1st we should have a a bbq April 5th in liberty state park

Let me know who is in and I can apply for permit and then start planning for food and drinks

So far they aren't saying anything except that I'm 1st on the list. Seems strange that I don't have a production number when so many already seem to have one.

Congrats everyone!

Btw if you don't have production # NY now make sure your dealer is using their allocation now...some of them are holding out so you may have to switch dealers

If April turns out to be too early we can do a may meet in the beginning of the month

sup everyone i am a new member jUsTlUv135i from nYc. planning on getting the 135i AW, red leather, sport, heated seats, and ipod. can anyone suggest a good dealer in the ny area? how much down are they asking for and what price are the asking for the 135i? other than dest/handling fee $775, NYC tax, registration/plates, are there any other fees added on?

so its def. looking like a meet April 5th and May 3rd

One will be in NJ for photos and a cruise and get to know each other
so we can take pics like this in edgewater, nj

then the next meet ppl can choose to join or come back and we can grab a few drinks or wings or whatever but all locations will be kept over pm for our cars safety

New member, name is John, ordered my 128i coupe a few weeks ago. I live in bergen county nj right on the hudson river.. so its good to know i got some 1 series folks near me!:thumbup: i look forward to a meet once my car comes in!!

Should hopefully have it by the first date! Looking forward to all of these meets everyone seems like a great bunch of guys. No drinks for me not 21 until July,:drinking: but wings sound effin good.

By the way that photo is VERY nice! Perfect photo shoot spot.
