Can't access the boot/trunk and key fob not working

hi guys its urgent
I hv 2017 420d coupe and accidentally I removed the fuses 104,150 (which are responsible on key fob operation ) located in the boot, then i closed the boot..trying to start the car >> the car not detecting the key fob (obviously the reason is i removed the fuses) , and the boot now not opening cus fob is not working..

i have the hard physical key and i can enter the car..any advice how to open the boot/trunk by folding the backseat ( note, there is no handle in the center to fold the seats, the only way to fold the seat according to the manual is using the handle in the boot)and put back the fuses that i removed which causing the fob not been detect by the car?..(battery is ok and lights can be turned on) i am in the street now the car is dead.
I read that UK model doesn't have emergency handle in the boot, so i think i need to remove the rear seats and put back the fuses then open it again by the fob..
I will appreciate if there is any thread in this fourm can help me sort out this problem or explaining in details how to remove the seat for this car model without the need to access the boots.

If you can fold the rear seat then you can lower the center armrest and reach in and lower the seats using the handles in the boot, you should then be able to reach the emergency release, seems kinda odd you don't have that but at any rate you could get access to the trunk from the rear seats being lowered.

any idea how to fold and lower the seats? lowering the centre arm will not help since is not open to the boot(there is plastic thing between the boot and the rear seats) this guy in YouTube made a hole in that plate in order toget into the trunk, but i don't want to do that.

Have you tried to start your car by holding the key on the marked area of the steering column? I have no idea if those fuses will impact that too but it is worth trying.

you can lower just the arm rest or the whole thing including the plastic barrier to reveal the pass through.

the center armrest at back seat can be confusing. while you can lower the armrest and as you note see the plastic barrier that prevents trunk access, you can also press the horizontal lever located just a few inches below that center headrest. that should allow access to trunk space.

Doesn’t the 4 series have an interior trunk release button somewhere? My 5/6/7 series sedans all had one down in the driver’s footwell? And my X5s had a button in the interior to release the tailgate.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Should be here in the picture. At least that's where it is in my F36 428

Thanks for posting that info…hopefully the OP was able to use it to gain access. It would have been nice to see a resolution to their dilemma.

I was thinking maybe it won't work because there's no power but OP said there was power just the key fob wasn't working. Not sure if they tried holding the key fob to the steering column? Anyway I believe you can pop the trunk without the key if the door is unlocked? So long as the switch in the glovebox is not set to valet. Should be able to access it from the trunk pass through and there should be emergency release in the trunk as well never heard of it not being there unless it broke off or something.

And if the battery is dead (or removed and the trunk got shut)…you can still open the trunk with the interior button if you put power to the jump start terminals in the engine bay.
