BMW NAV in 2018 thinks I'm 800+ miles away
UPDATE: I updated the data on Connected Drive and drove down the street, magically it's all working fine now.
Just had my NBT EVO ID5/ID6 Navigation System Retrofit completed this morning. I installed the hardware, and had the coding done by Bimmer-Tech remotely this morning. Everything is functioning, however the NAV system and the Connected Drive think I am over 800 miles away in Houston, TX. What gives?!? My car is a base infotaintment system 6.6" HU_entry that I installed this package in. I was surprised that there was no GPS antenna in the kit, and if there was there's no where to plug it into on the back of the HU. The only vacant spot on the back of the HU was the mustard colored "USB 2" plug. Can anyone help shed any light?
