Once again offset with 19"

I have searched a bit on this forum but not found the answer im looking for..
i want 19" on my car, most of all i would have the BBS LM rims, but the ones i got an good offer on was et 35 in 19x8,5. that does look like it would not fit.. Would 19x8,5 et 40 front and 9,5 et 45 fit? I will not roll the arches.. And the car has H&R 50mm drop front and 25mm rear.
Link to the csl replicas:

I don't think anyone has installed 19s anywhere in the world yet, as far as I know.

I'd imagine E46 offsets would probably work, but I'm not sure if 19s would fit with a drop.

Endre, Welcome to 1Addicts! What wheels are those in your sig? They look like 19" staggered LMs to me. Fantastic looking car, is it yours?

19x8.5" Schnitzer wheels (all four corners) for the E82 are et 43 and use 225/35/19 tires. They usually know what they're doing, although I'm not impressed with their wheels and their prices are out of this world.

Ah, good p-shop work, didn't catch it. Naw, that look is not a possibility with the offset requirements of the 1-ner. Too bad, looks fantasitic.

I have seen that. Agree about the price and design.:s Hartge have 19x8 et 40 front and 19x9,5 et45 rear tho.. But its tight up front... Didnt think this should be so difficult! When i ordered the car they said it would have the same offset as the e92, so i had disided for BBS LM before i got the car. that turned out wrong...

Agree. But since i cant do that, i am looking for alternatives. CSL is a nice rim, if it fits with the offset in the link. I know it will fit if i order the original csl rim in 8x19 et 47 front and 8,5x19 et 44 rear, but thats expensive.. And since the norwegian kr is so good compared to the $ i will buy over there.

here is a car with the oem setup: http://www.bmwccn.no/nor/kapittel3/f...aspx?Id=437242

I'm looking at inexpensive CSL reproduction wheels in 18x8.5, et 40 for all four corners, which I think will fit. There may have to be fine tuning with spacers up front, we'll have to wait and see. Those wheels are also available in 19" and different finishes.

US MSRP on BBS diamond black forged 19x8.5 RG-Rs is $1000 per wheel including the hardware. Tire Rack can get them.

I see that now for Mikeo's site, but I didn't see on yours where it stated set of 4 (I'm sure you're probably right--my bad). In any case, you get what you pay for! I'd buy a cast BBS before a replica of a average quality wheel to begin with. A set of BBS CH wheels (not merely cast) should only be around $1800 and would look very similar (much better actually), and are much higher quality (understatement) and lighter weight. With your exchange rate you'd make out well unless you get hit importing them...something I wouldn't here in Germany. I get items tax and duty free from the States. Also, I pay no German tax (19%).

Regrettably, the wheel-to-strut clearance in front is the issue if going to a wider wheel, not the fender lip. That's why I think it's possible 5-10mm spacers could be required. But it is only speculation until Tire rack, me, and others here start testing the fitment. No final answers yet, but soon. Here is a helpful tool that can start the fitment process.

I'm looking at the prospect of these:
http://www.beyernwheels.com/bmw_whee...n_typemesh.php

19" diameter

Width, ET, Bore, Lip

8.5, 15, 72, 1.5"
8.5, 30, 72, 1.5"
8.5, 40, 72, 1.5"
9.5, 25, 72, 3"
9.5, 30, 72, 3"
9.5, 45, 72, 3"

They should cost about $250 per wheel, so not too expensive.

Any idea what would fit the 1-Coupe without *any* extra modifications. Thinking about 8.5x19 front and 9.5x19 back.

If you stayed with the et40 front and et45 rear offsets it might be possible with the right sized tires--not saying it will work.
