just curious, what color interior with alpine white? If its white w/red, I may drive down to freehold this weekend and take a good hard look at it. Won't buy it though - just help nudge myself to change my color.

Well I finally got around to driving down to Freehold last night, took my wife and 2 friends to check out the car.
The car is still on the lot and looks sooo HOT! It did have a little brake dust as you mentioned but it was blocked behind quite a few cars. Another couple looked at the car w/us but we never got approached by a salesman. We stood around for quite some time but it was 7:30 so either I guess they're doing well down there or were anxious to get home. Alpine White always gives me a moment of pause everytime I see it and always a debate in my mind to change color at a savings of $400.

If anyone wants an Alpine White/Coral Red 135i in 6spd manual and available now ready for delivery, THIS is the one, hopefully it did not become their 135i test drive mule.

Thats the one I've been looking at and I've test driven that one two times...they have also installed a K40 radar detector in the grill as well...
Hopefully it'll be in my driveway in a week or two unless someone else takes it before I can |

loll I honestly don't know if I will get that ONE just because it seems like its the guinea pig of the manuals in new jersey...and the sales representative kept insisting on me to push it even more!! That does not make me feel comfortable about the previous test drivers.
I refused to go past 5k rpms even though I was told to go more...I expected the car to accelerate like a beast...that is not what I was looking for in the test drive...what interested me more was the overall feel of the car... But I did have my fun in the twisties and was overly satisfied/suprised with the car's nimbleness...and this is coming from a guy that drives a Mazda RX-8 on a daily basis (not blistering fast but will out handle 90% of the cars on the road) It was awkward though...kind of a sign from up above because the setup of that car is exactly the way I want it and it was the first dealership I visited..maybe I should just give in to the almighty 135 loll |
