I like the way he presents a car, a more involved approach than being overly subjective criticial. I don't remember that blonde girl's name either... damn, lol

haha, yeah, I agree Tiff has a very professional way of presenting his info, kinda opposite to Jeremy Clarkson, I like both though

All things considered you can say that the M3 has aged well. The RS4 is a solid car but considering that it is new and the M3 is an older platform overall, I think the M3 held it's own nicely.

And the M3 looks like much more fun than the RS4! Jason seems having a great time doesn't he? Whereas Tiff has to treat that Audi like a lumberjack to make it drift...

It's like you read my mind. I would still buy an M3(E46) over an RS4 anyday. The styling of the M3 is still hot and seemed like it has better suspension than the RS4. I just cant imagine what the new M3 is gonna b like. New M3 will blow the competition away. Let Audi have their 15 minutes of fame.

Even if the RS4 was miles ahead of the old M3 I still can't see myself driving an Audi. I'm hoping that BMW is really going to surprise us with the M3 in terms of it being better (and cheaper) then we imagined.

BMW M4 Bob Mochizuki shall be the match without 4wd but with sequential gear box
Bob Mochizuki designed a new BMW M4 for the year 2008. This BMW will fill the line up gap between the M3 and M5. This new M4 is a strong emotionally unique vehicle. It’s a two seater with classic proportions and new dynamic curves and fenders, keeping with the current and past BMW design themes. Mochizuki’s design is a more pure 'M', an ultimate driving machine. The design is based on the current M3 platform with a V8 engine.

Question. Since all we've seen of the new M3's are shots of coupes, why build an M4 if it's based on the M3 that just being released(at some point)? Something's not matching up here.

Those original photos assumed that the "1st" M3 would be a sedan but for now the E90 based M3 sedan is just a rumor that may never come true.

everything is rumor bro. I mean no one has confirmed info. We have seen what people are calling spy shots. That doesnt mean that BWM is going to realease a coupe or sedan right away. maybe a coupe first, then a year later a sedan. no one knows yet. but we are 15 months or so away from seeing one on the streets so about a year from hearing truth from BMW

I agree with you for the most part. It's a given that the M3 will exist, the question is what will come 1st, the coupe or sedan. Right now all signs point to the coupe which which bring the need for an M4 into question. That was my point.

It will be the day when BMW left E46 M3 and let fall E90 M3. But now they are selling the E46 2 doors / coupé and it is obviously in the end, no more chassis E 46 ? No doubt about that.

and its not only a rumour
The new E90 M3 is due to go on sale in 2006 and BMW plans coupe, cabriolet and 4-door sedan models.

Not since the E36 3 Series range was there a four-door M3, but our photos confirm BMW's plans to bring this derivative back.
But in EU and US they have the M3 CS to sell until then.

At the front the M3 will get an aggressive yet subtle bumper while the rear will sport quad exhausts similar to that of the new M5.

Under the bonnet will be a new lightweight V8 producing about 295 kW using the latest dual-VANOS variable valve timing system.

Thanks to the implementing of state of the art engine building technology and lightweight materials, the new engine could weigh the same as the outgoing 3.2 liter in-line 6-cylinder from the current E46 M3.

Of course BMW's SMG transmission will come as standard.

Rumours have it that a CSL version could have a power output of a whopping 310 kW.

It is expected that BMW will unveil the M3 in four-door guise at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The two-door models will probably be launched at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show. We shall be there !
