540i brake pads
My G30 540i has gray / non M sport calibers, and the rotors are 348x36.
I just ordered the R1 Concepts geomet drilled and slotted rotors and was looking for a good set of brake pads. After doing some research, the EBC Reds look like the best bet but there is no solid information on if these are the correct ones. Every brake pad except for the oems don’t like the same or seem to have the wear sensor hole in the same spot. If anyone can post the right parts number for the EBC or any good brake pad set that has lower dust than oem, that would be highly appreciated. If you have 346x36 rotors, then you likely have the unpainted Brembo calipers. The G30 also came with unpainted Continental calipers and those use a 346x30 rotor. The first FCP link you provide in your posting are pads for the Continental calipers and will not fit your Brembo calipers.

I had R1’s on my 335 prior, they were cheap Chinese knock offs. I even bought the more expensive non rust ones, I’ll never not buy oem again for brakes..

I'm having the same exact issue with part numbers... I'm looking to replace my rotors and pads due to shudder and i cant figure out the pads.
I was looking to get the EBC Ultimax pads but cant seem to figure out which one I need. Application guide shows UD2060 and UD1867. The UD2060 are 30mm and the UD1867 are 36MM. Other than pulling the wheel off and measuring, any other way to figure this out? The same goes for the rotors. The Zimmermann Formula F rotors are 30mm x 348mm and the Zimmermann Z Coat rotors are 36mm x 374mm. |

Don't put too much stock in blue or unpainted front calipers. In fact, a blue caliper on a G30 may well be the same one but unpainted on an F11. Except for the unpainted Continental calipers (that use 348 mm x 30 mm), the Brembo all have the rotor size cast into the back of the caliper body. They will either read 348 x 36 or 374 x 36. The front pads pictured in your link are intended for the Continental calipers and will not fit either Brembo caliper.
