Hello,

I have BMW 530e 2020, i have problem in assisted driving view inside instrument cluster(3d car view), when i change display setting for central display area for instrument cluster to Assisted Driving View i see a blank screen, it didnt show the car 3d view just i see a blank screen, anyone have this problem before and how i can solve it if possible?

Odd. That’s the setting for it
Have you tried I checking Ian’s reaching?
Or resetting the idrive? (Hold down the volume knob for about a minute or so and hold it down and you see /hear the unit reset. If you are Ina quiet garage you can hear it make some subtle noises as it resets

Thank you for your reply, i tried to make this reset of iDrive using volume button, but it didnt work, maybe the iDrive system need a software update, or maybe its hardware problem?

It does need to be a good minute ( literally)

You say it’s 2020 so is that idrive 7 “lite” as it’s unofficially called, ie with no OTA software updates?

Unfortunately i made this reset, it didnt work, is there any update for this “Lite” version? My car produced on March 2020, sport line, how i can do update?

Software update for the “lite” have to be done at the dealer. There is no ota for that, that was introduced on the LCI cars
You will probably have to pay for that as ilo assume it’s out of warranty? If it’s by any chance still under warranty , they should do not for free
You can ask, may just be worth going to the dealer to check you’ve not overlooked something.

Did it work previously or has never worked?
