Is Bluetooth standard option?

Is BT standard on all 135i's? The only thing you need is a compatible phone? Is this correct? I searched the site and bmwusa.com but could not find a definite answer. Thanks advance.

Bluetooth is not standard. You get it as part of BMW Assist.

No offense, but I find BT headsets incredibly dorky looking.

Not wearing one of those on my head. They do not compare regardless!

I also agree with the above two comments.

So, there is no other way to get integrated bluetooth without BMW Assist?

You should have seen the rush to buy them here in CT when our handheld ban went into effect.

I still think the cellular accessories industry was behind the legislation.

We have had a hands free cell phone law in NJ for years in some townships and statewide recently and it has not changed a thing. I am a UPS driver and all day long I see assholes on cellphones driving around and barely able to make turns because they have one hand on their cellphone and the other on the wheel. The week it went into effect statewide the cops were out cracking down on it and then after that it is like the law does not exist.
