Piano black trim restoration

Hi everyone, I know this has been discussed over and over it has anyone actually attempted and succeeded at restoring their piano black trim?

I've been looking for ways to restore mine and just ran into this video on YouTube:

What do you guys think? The steps look fairly easy and if these results can be achieved then I'm going to try it.

It's like the lights - a good product and it has to be able to do it :-)

No different than taking swirls out of clear coat.. I love the look of piano black but the upkeep can be a pain in the ass.
