I did 35% all around. One thing to keep in mind is BMW windows already have standard tint so it actually ends up slightly darker than 35%.

k cool, i think yours looks great and i was planning on 35 all around, just wasnt sure if it would be dark enough for me. but after seeing yours i think it will be perfect. thanks again.

dealer called me thursday and said it will arrive in NY on the 2nd. im hoping to get it towards the end of next week (around the 9th or 10th). not sure though since it arrives at the port on a friday and i heard the VPCs are closed on the weekends. its so close now, although, i bet these next 2 weeks will probably feel longer then the last month.

I was expecting a week and a half wait once mine arrived at the VPC in NY. It only took 5 days till I got the call! Maybe the same will happen for you

You will get it quick. mine arrived at port on the 23 and was at the dealer on the 26.

BKsBimmer: I guess I missed your OP, thanks for the repost on the tint place, I am guessing that they are not non-metallic, have you encountered any problems with navi, keyless range etc?

Looks great - nice shots too! I've got almost the same car as you, but I didn't get the xi, just i. Same interior colours and options though (Nav, black on aluminum, manual), and same sport pkg wheels.

One difference is that (thankfully) my province doesn't require a front plate. I feel for you guys and gals in provinces / states where you must have a front plate or risk a ticket. I don't know what I'd do.

Hey Donny, I've had no problems whatsoever with Nav, keyless range or anything ... everything still works great!
