Main differences in JB2 and AA processor installs
I thought this might be helpful for people to see. Most have suggested that these piggy-back systems should be removed when the car goes in for any service. Well, I wanted to know how involved it was and wanted to be able to compare. I'm sure we could add more to this with other products but I'm starting with these
Active Autowerke 3 wires on connector A1 (pin #10, #29, and #31) 2 wires on connector B1 (pin #6 and #7) ground wire fuse tap Solenoid bypass JB2 2 wires on connector A1 (pin #10 and #32) 2 wires on connector B1 (pin #6 and #7) Solenoid bypass (this is exactly like AA's kit, but they have another way to bypass the solenoids which is supposedly better) I hope this info is helpful to some of you. Looks like the JB2 would be the easiest to remove and replace, but then is the performance as good...don't know.

MODS: We should update and sticky this thread as other people start adding different tunes to their cars. We will have a pin listing and # of wires to compare for ease of install/de-install

No problem
BTW, I am really just learning about turbo tuning on BMWs even though I have had lots of experience with Nissans. I don't really know what all is out there, but if I knew what other tuners you guys want in here, I could do some research and add them to the original post.
