Thumbs up E92 335i coupe in development by Alpina

These pics were taken at and near Alpina's factory in Buchloe, Germany. For those that don't know, Alpina gets the newest BMW models even before the cars begin production so that they can begin developing their tuning program for the car. Can't wait to see what they in store for us!

I actually love the rear lights design on the coupe. Some may disagree, but it's one of the best elements on this car (and on the 7er IMO).

Looks great, what size tires do you think they are using there, they look like 20's.

However it looks just "OK" to me. I'm not feeling it, yet. Am I alone?

You know what, I actually support the new 7 rear because it gives a presitge (sp) and elegance for the big saloon. However, moving that design onto the 3-er coupe kinda reducing the coupe's sportiness somewhat... but I don't know, could be a first impression bias thing

yah the 7-er rear gives the car more luxurious look than sportiness, but i kinda support that, the 3-er is moving toward larger size, maybe 2 compete with the CLK.

also having a 3.5 turbo engine supports the long-luxurious design IMO, its like having small 3-er n large 3-er, i like that

I'm not feeling the coupe rear at all, I think the sedan looks much sportier, and think this is a bit of a mistake. I am probably wrong though.
