Catless configuration and schedule maintenance
So I was eating dinner and I thought about this.
Suppose you have a catless setup with a piggy back unit, it's time for maintenance. To be prudent, you take off the piggyback unit and O2 sim, so dealer won't void your warranty. (Chances are they aren't going to pry open the DME box unless there's a problem and they suspect something.) But, removal of the O2 sim will throw codes and the dealer will discover your catless setup. To leave the O2 sim in you run the risk of it being discovered. Is there no solution besides returning the downpipe to stock? Seems like a hassle.

Go to a mod friendly dealership. I'm sure there will be some out there. As long as what you're warranting was not caused by the aftermarket part itself, I'm sure it's not going to be a problem.

It might cause an issue in the long run. Suppose you have motor issues in the future for unrelated reasons to a piggyback and assume you don't even run the piggyback any longer; you're in the system with a PB.
