not fair

I'm paying over 50k canadian for a car with an M Sports Package and an aggressive front end that is supposed to be aerodynamic and visually appealing.

Then BMW releases a performance aerodynamic front grill kit accessory that costs at least 400 dollars. I'd also have to pay for the paint matching and the installation costs.

Now I love the accessory and don't like the stock front.

NOT FAIR.

I agree, the stock bumper looks far more aggressive.

On the BMWusa site for the 128i you can actualy configure a tii bumper kit for 1.4k... not for the 135i thou.. so if you ordered it and its shipping you cant change it but just wanted to let you know haha..

Agreed, and I'll pass on the "performance stripes" (read: decals).

I may be wrong, but in the pics it looks like the center opening is smaller. Personally I won't be doing anything that screws with the amount of airflow going to the intercooler on this car. Heat is already too much of a concern without cosmetic stuff adding to it.

(It may be just the pics though. If the opening is the same area disregard all that ranting)

I think it's just the picture indeed. it's actually bigger, IMO, if you look at the headlights and grille for reference. if not bigger, at least the same size for sure.
even if it were smaller, I think it would be at least intended to be designed to work well anyhow.
gosh I was just thinking about this today; I am going to have to go with this mod, and 3m both... quite a lot of buck.

Are you sure this means it won't fit the 135i, not being on their configure doesn't necessarily mean it's won't fit.
