E90 335i spotted in Brooklyn 5/29/06

Hello To All,

I cant believe my luck...I had just got this e-mail with these pics from a friend telling me that he had enough time to take a few shots and then the guy ran into the car and drove off very quickly...started yelling at him for taking picks...he even told him to delete them......Wow does this mean that the 335i sedan is coming at the end of this year?

or does someone think this is a photoshop? Should I ask my friend to show the plate of the car he stated that he did not want to get into trouble so he blurred the plate.....

what are your feelings on this....

I'm betting on somebody buying an extra "3" and playing a bit. The window trim isn't chrome, so it's likely a 325i. It doesn't look like a pshop to me. The lighting is different on the different 3's.

Just another photoshopped one... if You look pics in photoshop You will find it out easily.

I thought the same thing.....but then I remember that the 5-Series w/sport pkg. does not have chrome trim and the M cars I think dont have the chrome trim...plus I remember spotting this pic on E90post.com of the 335i coupe...I dont know what to think...anyone else want to chime in????

the coupe will come standard with crome window trim on all models so I would assume the same with an E90 335. I think this was obviously just someone who changed thier numbers; rebadging instead of debadging. plus do you really think they would have it in Brooklyn?

1. thats a four door , I thought the 335 sedan isnt going to be out until way after the coupe. either a photoshop or some tool changed the numbers on his car.

nvrmind....that's a 325i with another "3" in the middle! It doesn't even have the chrome trim.....

looks like they just took a 325i and copied the "3" and covered the "2".

The 335 IS coming though, just not sure when. I just spoke with my father-in-law who had just come back from a 3 day workshop at on of the BMW facilities for employees (I think it was Arizona) where they talked about the cars and had 2 track days. He confirmed that a twin turbo 335 is coming and he would call me as soon as they had a demo so we could go for a spin.

-because of all the valid items people posted here...I can tell you that my friend did not Photoshop anything on the car (except blurring out the plate)...he told me that he knows what he saw and that people can think anything they want but the pics are not PS and that the rear bumper had 2 separate pipes......one single pipe on each side...he did not think at the time that it would have beem important to take the bumper...he said he just took the few quick pics and then the guy started yelling at him so he put the camera down and got nervous.......

-...I am really not sure now if the owner was putting on a show or what...I am confused....

Please give me a break...this's 325i. You know even I see this one on the street with real 335i badge ($3 per chrome letter, buy it and install it), I still believe it's 325i.

I bet it's a 325 badged as 335. It's easy to chage the numbers, zzinco79's got 330 put on his 325 if you wann see an example of rebadging.

The 335i sedans and coupes that are currently in the US are still under camo; so its a case of badge-engineering, nothing more.
