I went from V1 to 9500, then back to V1. I love the arrows, sensitivity is very subjective....both are outstanding. The 9500 has GPS and true lock. I found that having the Arrows really gives you a better picture of the radar sources you are encountering.... what can I say, I'm a V1 Zombie:headbang: |

The GPS lockout feature and the digital speedometer function sold me on the Escort 9500i. Although, I did discover that the 135i's speedometer is a bit "optimistic". At a steady 80 mph with the cruise control set, the Escort reads 77. The car is always off by about 3 mph at all highway speeds. At least I know.

I would go with the APG-77 Radar that's in the F-22. If price weren't an issue that is.

I have both and I like the Escort GPS features better...jm2c
btw...both work well at giving you warnings as well as the other. Laser warnings work, but it's too late when you get them. |

A couple of tips: First thing, switch the display to the ExpertMeter mode. It will show you multiple signals and multiple bands at the same time, and once you've been using it for a while becomes very usefull Next, turn all the bands on, and try it for a few days on your normal commute. The 9500 is so good at eliminating false alerts there's really no reason to turn off any of the bands. After a few days of saving false alert locations in your area you won't hear anything from it unless there's a cop around. |
