Clear Front Turn Signals

Is their a source for Euro-spec front lenses to remove the orange markers? If so why dont we see if we can get a group buy going?

I believe it requires replacing the entire headlight so it's not an easy swap.

^Either that or opening it up, which I really don't want to do. I want to swamp the entire headlight anyways as I like the bi-xenons more.

You mean to say that you need a WHOLE new headlight set? Including the lamps? I thought you just had to replace the lens cover...

This is an ongoing and confusing debate. I wish someone would just do it already so we could all know once and for all.

From what I thought, the amber lense is inside the housing, which is sealed shut. So like a lot of Subie guys do, you could bake your headlights and pry em apart, or pony up for some genuine euro headlights. I helped my cousin with the baking method on his, scary stuff. Myself however, if I decide to, will be ordering Euro headlights.

On my cousins audi we drilled out the tabs on the amber then broke it up and emptied it out of the bulb hole.

I just got my car yesterday so I havent had a chance to examine it closely and Im busy this week, but as soon as I get some time thats the first thing Ill look into.

Yeah, there are other ways around it like Papethova said. Depending on what you're willing to do and what is possible with these enclosures.
