Rear Diffuser Mod
I decided to remove the black plastic piece in the rear diffuser and replace it with a honeycomb mesh. I plan on typing up a DIY but for those who are not mechanically inclined and are interested........
Mesh alone, uncut and unpainted $15 a strip plus shipping (cost me $14.55) Ready to install mesh (precut, formed, and painted) $50 plus shipping Install on your diffuser if you ship to us $175 plus shipping New diffuser with mesh installed $300 plus shipping Just a word of warning to anyone who wants to attempt this before I get a DIY up. The plastic is VERY soft and EASILY scratches. Tape off not only the piece but around the tools too. We even had to tape off the handle of the exacto. |

OK, question for those who like this look. Would you want your OEM style carbon diffuser to have the cutout already? We are making the molds now, so it would be a good time to say something...
