I think he meant he'won' the bidding, it's not winning per se as you still have to pay for it.

That's what I thought when I saw the pictures. I installed the OEM //M kickplates this morning, so the image of them is fresh in my mind and they don't really look the same shape as those Hamann plates. The OEMs are heavily moulded & 3-dimensional to fit the sills and there are clips underneath to push into the holes in the bodywork. The Hamanns look like 2-dimensional stickers to be placed directly on the sills. Still, maybe that's the effect you were looking for & I look forward to seeing the pix once they're installed - enjoy
