Stock PPF?

Bought this 2022 m550ix recently and just noticed this plastic coating on hood and panels around the front wheels. Just wondering if this is PPF or some stock protective film.

PPF of some kind. There is no stock PPF just paint.

That's PPF, not the best job I have seen but, hey, bonus for you.

Looks like PPF from the previous owner.
