MSNBC had an interview with the makers of this film, about two guys who raised an lion cub in London, but eventually had to reintroduce him back to the wild. They met up with Christian the lion years later and he still remembers them.

That was awesome indeed. Those two idiots were completely nuts, would any of us do that? As it turned out, that magnificent creature showed more loyalty than any single politician on this planet. Animals are so much better than people...thanks Robert.
