Will be doing the same with mine in a week or two. Can’t wait!!

I have to say though that in my opinion a little lip around the car makes it even better! The M sport bumpers are way more aggresive then the stanard bumpers, but still not aggresive enough in my opinion.

I’m looking into getting a front lip to make it look more aggressive. Not many people have LCIs with front lips though so it’s been hard to choose one based on real examples

Hello. If it can be useful to someone, even a simple lip under the bumper can change the aesthetic without major expenses or changes.

Very subtle and clean with an amazing result bepp67! Nice job. More unique then the M sport package 😅.

I was thinking to do the same, but adding a lip to the front bumper meant also adding a lip below the side skirts and rear bumper. In that case it already goes towards €1000 including installment. In the end I decided to go with the M sport package. Defintly more expensive but in my eyes worth the money.

Edit: by the way, what brand is that? Can you share a link or something?

I think it's Ikon Motorsport (https://ikonmotorsports.com/products...p-spoiler-1pcs) but as you can see from the photos compared to the one for sale, I modified the spoiler at the side ends

One thing to note is the parking sensors. On the m sport one of the parking sensors is black, with the rest being body color. So when you switch bumpers there is one parking sensor that is still body color, you can see on mine the gray sensor on the black grille part. I didn’t realize that would be an issue until i saw it in person after the job was done,

I’m not too worried about it, would be too much a hassle to paint it. Maybe i’ll wrap it in the future

Didn’t even notice it until you said it. Thanks for your honesty. Will paint/wrap mine in black then. I don’t know what option is better, painting or wrapping, in the sense of what causes less issues for the sensors.

Do not be too much trouble you are only two small sensors, by the way you will need to destroy the frames, you do not even have to disassemble the bumper! Take a can of glossy black, possibly car paint, you just need to give a sanding with abrasive paper 800/1000 to make the surface a little rough, then degrease with silicone degreaser and give a light varnish and you’re good.

Wrapped it myself with some cheap amazon film today, no issues with the sensors

Nice job mate. I will need to do the same because I also got the M sport bumper installed. Are your sensors like perfectly flush with the bumper? Or are they “indented” a bit?

They are a bit intended, same as the way it is on the rear which is still factory BMW. On the front they are all indented except the ones in the black grille piece, but my coworkers 540i m sport is the same way.

Wow! Wasn't aware of this lip kit, really fills out the front end nicely. Folks considering a full on bumper swap should probably look into this first!

This is the final result. The previous photos with the grille and air ducts chrome and spoiler. Finally in total black.

bepp67 Nice job….although I think it looks better with the chrome, ties in with the roof rails & window trims better

Thanks for the appreciation. I also like it both ways, there are days that I would like to put the grille back with chrome side air intakes, others that I like it as it is.
