Hello,

This is my first post so i apologize if anything is off.

I recently threw on some 20 inch wheels on my 540i and the back seem to be rubbing a little. The front is 245/35R20 and the back is 315/35R20. The front hasn’t given any issues but over bumps at high speed the back rubs a bit. The tires are pretty bald so I’m thinking of throwing on some skinnier tires in the back and want to go as wide as possible. I have heard that I can do 295 or 285. My car is stock ride height and I’ll attach photos of the rubbing. Some people have told me the wheels just won’t work but I don’t see why they wouldn’t with the 295’s. Any help is appreciated as this isn’t exactly my field of expertise.
