Hey there i have a 2018 540i and am about to install a catless downpipe and go stage 2 of course with the needed pre maintenance. Im currently only stage 1 for the burbles and have a exhaust cut out after my resonator. I want my pops to be loud since theyre active only on sport plus. I do want to get rid of the cutout since it was more of a temporary thing but im not sure what to do. I dont want too much drone or exhaust sound in the cabin but i still want it to be some what loud and mean sounding. Muffler delete? Resonator delete? or both?

I would start with a resonator delete first. Not sure if I would remove the exhaust. It may drone.
