For someone with 0 experience I have a 520i and would like to maintain it as much as possible to keep it running as smooth as possible. What changes and intervals would you recommend I make and is it possible to do any of those things such as oil filter and oil with 0 experience? Is there more chance of me ruining the car and should I just leave it to the experts and pay the £££? Thanks all

If you don't have experience my biggest concern is safety. You don't want the car to drop on you. Never get under a car if it's only on the jack. It needs to be on stands or ramps, and the back wheel needs to be choked. Google how to do this safely first, and it's not too bad. I suggest doing some research into how to jack up a car safely first.
