Can't get Torque app to reset P codes (OBD2)
Anyone know if there is some trick that I'm missing to reset P codes on the OBD2 system with the Torque app? When I try to reset it (without the car running), they clear but then I go and immediately scan for codes again (car still not running) and the codes are still there.
Both codes are for emissions (evap and catalyst permeance codes) which I have fixed. I can't seem to clear the codes to see if they come back again. |

Nevermind. Finally got it. For future reference...
1. Foot off brake. Press start button once. 2. Clear codes. 3. Press start button again. 4. Close door and lock car for *some amount of time*. Apparently, if you clear the codes and don't let the car completely shut off (not just go to sleep) it may not actually clear the codes. |
