Wrinkled rubber door trim
The rubber trim on the passanger side door frame is wrinkled. I know it is not a problem but it bugs the crap out of me when I look at it. Is there a way to get this to lay flat? Should I have my CA correct this?

Mine is the same. Although the 1er's fit and finish is of very high quality, I've come to accept that it's not as top notch as other models I've owned. Seam imperfections, cheapish hard plastic dash, and leatherette arm rest. Don't get me wrong, it's still better than average, but not perfect. You may be successful in getting it fixed, but some things we have to deal with for the "bang for the buck" package.

I have the same thing...
I think BMW made a mistake when going cheap on some parts. I would have to say for most this is there first BMW. I won't say it has left a bad taste in my mouth but I didn't expect to have as many rattles and build quality over sights as I have had. |
