Rolled Fenders OK?
I was going to get my fenders rolled tomorrow has anyone had it done? I was wondering how it looks, what were the results?

Wonder why this is in suspension & brakes
Why do you need your fenders rolled anyhow? It will look different depending on how much you roll them obviously. Results of what? I'm slightly confused here

I had my fenders rolled and it turned out great, you cannot notice at all in the way of looks. Now I no longer rub at all with my 255/35/19 I am so much happier I should have done this sooner.

It cost $100 from a forum member in the NY forum, you don't need a pic it looks no different at all from stock all the rolling happens inside the fender. I should have done this a lot sooner.

Check my photo gallery - we did an aggresive fender rolling job (in very warm weather, so the paint was nice and flexible) to be able to fit our wheel/tire combination underneath.

Done right, the rolled fender lip should 'grip' the liner and hold it in place.

I would like to do it on mine too, but when the tyre shop looked at it, they said it cannot be done because of the way the factory fender it. BS obviously! I assuming this is rears?

Amazingly, our rear fender (quarter panel) is not rolled, even running the 18x10 rear wheel. Forgeline makes custom wheels and running a +62 offset, the rear quarter panel didn't need to be rolled.
Make sure you take it to someone experience in doing so. |
