installing REAR license plate?

I searched, but could not find any info on this.

So I currently have my Euro plates on the rear. And I recently got my CA state plates. I was trying to figure out how to remove the Euro rear plate and install the CA plate.

Any one knows how to do this.

Thanks !

Pop off the Euro plate with a flat head screwdriver. It's just clipped on. Unscrew the Euro bracket from the car. Screw in US plate bracket. Snap in US plate. Done.

If there's a euro bracket, then there should be a long piece at the bottom that pops off. When it comes off, you can slide your plates out.

turns out that there was no euro bracket, nor was the euro plate just clipped on. It was screwed in place using two screws. I was confused initially, because the screw heads were hidden under white plastic caps. I removed the caps using a flat head screw driver and then unscrewed the plate.

The same screw holes can be used to mount the US bracket. And once the bracket is mounted, you can screw on the CA plate on the bracket using 4 screws

Wierd. I had a Euro Plate bracket screwed in to those 2 holes instead of the plate just on your car. Seems you got the cheap version :iono:
