KUDOS to Nate and crew at IND......
I just had to put up a quick post to say thanks, and send a shout out to Nate at IND.
I ordered the Vorsteiner Polyurethane front splitter as part of the group buy when it was first introduced. Also availed of the front reflectors deal. I was a little worried, as: 1.) I don't even have my car yet 2.) I ordered it in Azurite black, which isn't exactly a common e9x M3 colour. Nate and his boys came through BIG TIME. The splitter and reflectors arrived today. Their work, in a word, is PERFECT. Packaging was great, so no worries about damage, and the surface of the paint is flawless (actually, maybe TOO good - we'll see what kind of orange peel my soon-to-be-arriving car has, LOL). Now, all I need is a CAR...... sigh...... At least I know exactly what Azurite looks like, now (Looks similar to Carbon black - more flake, and richer, darker blue - I LOVE it) Nate - THANKS. I'll be talking to you again, most definitely! Last edited by TTBear; 01-31-2009 at 02:23 PM.. |

Thanks for the kind words Allan! M3post has been really good to us and we like to take care of the members. I can't wait to see photos of your M3 when it comes in.

Kudos to Nate & IND - UPDATE: Azurite black pics
Well, I am clearly not a professional photographer
As promised, here are a few pics of the Vorsteiner polyurethane front splitter. I am quite certain there are many who will lambast me for choosing this colour, as it is too "similar" to Jerez..... I chose the colour, for a couple different reasons - first, I wanted the piano black interior trim, which you cannot order alone, but must obtain through the BMW Individual program, so the option for other colours came by default. Secondly, I kinda like the idea of my M3 being exactly that - Individual. I haven't seen an M3 in Azurite yet... (no surprise - it's the same as f-ing Jerez, LOL). And finally, I wished to order extended leather, so by the time I added up the cost, the "upgrade", if you wish to call it that, didn't actually cost all that much. Ah well - suffice it to say, I love the colour, and as they say in Ireland "F*** the begrudgers...." LOL. As I had said, Azurite has more pronounced metal flake than Jerez, or Carbon black. The blue is richer, and overall, the colour is "deeper". Floats my boat, anyway, haha. Now, I just need an M3 on which to PUT these..... this wait is killing me. My car doesn't go into production until February Last edited by TTBear; 01-31-2009 at 02:50 PM.. |

LOL. Always a man of few words. Thanks, Mike! Look forward to seeing you this summer.

At any rate, I'm glad I was able to get Azurite. Car won't be here until at least April, and I have sold my e46 M3, so am stuck driving a 1990 Toyota Celica All Trac (granted, it is a pristine one, with 45,000 miles on it, but it ain't no M3, LOL). Thanks for the compliments, guys. |

Azurite was one of the best looking colors I have ever seen in person. I can't wait to see photos of your M3.

One of the best colors we have ever painted. We are painting a trunk for TTBear also. I can't wait to see photos of his M.
