Window Tinters in Boston Area

Let's get a list rolling for window tinters in our area. Im gonna get my 335i tinted in the summer, so i need GOOD QUALITY shops that tint for a decent price. I also dont wanna deal with that dotmatrix issue or whatever.

Please state:

Name:
Address:
% tint available: 20%? 25% 27%? 30% or above?
Price:
Any issues/problems (especially for 335 dot matrix issue)?

Post pic if possible, with %tage.

sonnys in saugus but i dont think they will do any tint thats illegal
tint king-heard alot of good things about them
superior -saugus- i think they do all the ones you listed

good luck. the dot matrix sucks. Tint king here, while they were great to deal with and all the side windows came out flawless the dot matrix looks like shit.

Ari,

Can you post some pics of how your dot matrix looks like? Mine came out like shit on the old E92 with Formula 1 Pinnacle.

E90's don't have the dot matrix issues. Lucky SOB's.

I do have the dot matrix. On my 335i, the dealership had it tinted at a place nearby Herb Chambers. They didnt do a good job. There's small bubbles all over the side windows. I'm hoping to get them re-done at Superior. The owner there told me they have not had a problem with the dot matrix. Also,
my friends shop in Hampton, NH has the dot matrix down. He's never had a problem yet. He does alot of higher end cars there too.
I'll try and get a pic when I get out of work.

Yeah I too would like to see a picture of this dot matrix crap...How bad is it really? I really want to get my windows tinted but all i ever here is how the dot matrix part looks like crap...im a bit nervous about getting tints now.

Looks pretty bad but you end up getting over it. If I could do it over again Id have the matrix sanded down...it looks cleaner.

go to www.tintdude.com and ask around try to get pics of a bmw that they did before you pull the trigger

^^ I wish that was the extent of our problems. the E92's entire top of the rear window is dot matirx for like 4 or 5 inches down.
