AW E90 M3 with RD Sport Springs PICS

Well like the title says I just installed some RD Sport Springs on my E90 M3.

Ride:
I was expecting a harsh ride, but like many have commented on other threads, it seems to ride better/smoother. I have only logged about 12 miles as of right know so I will comment further as the week goes on.

Drop:
I love the drop. I really hate the back looking lower than the front and these springs really make the gaps look even. I honestly was expecting them to be a bit lower from what I had read (maybe they will settle a bit...they are used so not sure that applies). I can see that if i wouldve gone with H&R I would not be happy.

Looks great Jorge!.... RD Sports in my opinion are the best springs currently out for the E9x M3...the ride is great (with EDC) and the drop is perfect for a spring set-up... Can't wait to see some better pics.

i doubt you having a coupe has anything to do with it...if anything the sedan is heavier so it would sit lower (so small a difference its probably not noticeable)...im guessing they either havent settled or its than angle of the pic.

either way...i love the stance now

My source at Eibach says that RD spings are H&R springs re-stamped. ACS are Eibach spings re-stamped also.

From what I have heard/read RD will lower the car the most w/o going to coilovers...

Here are some day shots (as you can tell I am not a professional):

They H&R springs be .2" higher up front. Very small amount but if your an anal bastard like me then yes it will be noticable lol.

I am liking the ride height a lot. Its low, but still very practical for everyday use. Im used to tucking all 4 tires way under the fender but those are the old days when having a useless car didnt seem to matter. RD all the way for me. I

How many miles did you drive on them so far? How do they ride with EDC? Still comfortable ? They should settle some too.....

Can you take some measurements from the center of the wheel cap to the top of your fender? That way, we can all compare how much the drop is for different spring sets.

Thanks for all the compliments. I will take some measurements tomorrow.

In terms of the ride I would say that on the softest EDC setting it rides better than stock (not softer just feels smoother...not sure that makes sense but I like the drive better) on the medium setting I would say it is about as stiff as the highest setting on stock springs (my preferred setting) and the stiffest setting is a quite a bit stiffer than stock on this setting...hope that helps but its really hard to say exactly how different it is.

Overall I am very happy with the drop/comfort the car does not scrape on any incline I have come across nor any speed bump. that was my biggest concern as my house has a very steep driveway and my work has mountains for speed bumps!

I actually thought the wheels would look too small when lowered but I must say I am hoping the new wheels will look much better as I am really like the stock ones right now :/

I am going to remeasure as I think the street is a bit unlevel here at work but here is what I got:

F (passenger side): 13.25
R (passenger side): 12.5

Not sure how that compares to H&R...
