Help me choose the right body kit....

Hi guys!
Im new to this forum, and I'm on my way of soon owning a BMW for the first time (looking forward to ).

I decided to buy the E90, not sure yet between 330xi or 330i (automatic, SG, beige leather (considering terra), adaptive bi-xennon, navi proffesional, alu trim, and some other stuff.. I really want the blacklines and perhaps new angel eyes

NOW THE BIG QUESTION... I don't know what to do. At the dealer's I fell in love with the M-Kit, (the seats and the stearing wheel blew me away and I liked the exterior also) and decided that It;s worth every penny, but now, after seeing a lot of threads on e90post I'm not sure about the 18"M Rims at all and frankly Im starting to be unsure about the exterior kit also I think the car needs something else... (i saw for example mummiez' car and Im speechless )

Any suggestions? Should I stick with the M-Kit as it looks ok I guess and I love the interior.... or you think I should buy the m-interior parts and then opt for another body kit ?Name: 7.jpg

Does anyone have actual downforce numbers? I would choose the aero kit that planted me into the ground the best, personally.

Damn you Josh, every time I see your sig pic, it makes me wish I went with Blue instead of SG.

I also agree, I would go with the kit that had an actual function. Especially some tailend downforce...the tail feels a bit loose at high-speeds...just like my 98 M3 did above 150mph, with no deck spoiler.

Have you looked at Hamann or Breyton... ?

Don't bother with an Xi, it just slows you down and decreases your Mpg... Only buy one if you live in an area with lots of snow!

I was thinking the exact opposite. In this particular thread, I think the ACS kit looks better on the silver car.

ACS does not publish actual Downforce numbers for their kits but they ARE wind tunnel tested unlike alot of the other kits out there. ACS is the most expensive but they are the best.

Do you have any ideea how much is this kit? exterior only. 10xAttachment 30084

if you want replica, i believe the front is 300 bucks, cause ryan is doing this GB on it in the MARKET section, and a few peopel havne't paid, you just might be able to get replace one of them if you're interested

but if you want authentic ACS, i think it's about 600-700 a peice, and the wing is about 300 or something, the roof spoiler is like 200 or something, making it 2100-2600 in total...price depends from where you get the stuff

the rims are THE BEST!!~, but they're hard to find, some E90 members in here got it from ebay, but for some reason i just can't find them there, and those are just replicas, about 1200 a set i think

but for the REAL thing, i'm guessing 3000 a set?, not too sure

have fun spending money...

Hi guys! Thanks for spending a bit of your time on my thread.

Although I'd LOOOVE to get the ACS KIT, I think it would be too expensive in the end... probably 5-6 grand. too much for me right now...

I'm thinking t stick with the M-Kit and perhaps get diffrent rims.
Do you think it's possible to get the M-Kit and pay the diffrence for other ones made by bmw ? Or what It;s in the kit - I get, another set of rims would cost extra, and I would end up with 8 wheels ?<<confused>>
Im loving the interior and that M-wheel is out of this world !

Or what do you think I should do? What other options are there?
ACS Replicas are for sure junk and I'm not feeling that at all...

Some help still needed......

Well I live in Bucharest, and even if there's not much snow, (there are a few weeks/year snowy) and it rains quite a bit but not that much... I was thinking of buying 330xi because of the stability it should provide... It would be my first BMW, Im used to driving Audi A4-front wheel drive (1.8T)... and I just don't know If I'll get to used to rear wheel drive :|

Do you think 330i is good enough ?

You will love it...and get used to it the moment you hit the first turn. Then you start grinning, and you get a warm fuzzy feeling inside. Kinda like when you know your gonna get laid soon..

Good enough??? all test I've seen tells me that the 330i handling is better than the 330ix.

I personally think the Kercher front is hands down the best for the e90 and anything other than that is settling for less -- may be exaggerated a little but I love the Kercher front so much.
