How long does the Factory BMW warranty last in your country?

I am very curoius to know the length of warranty offered in other parts of the world.

Here in good old Australia, we recieve two (2) years unlimited warranty on new BMW motor vehicles motor cycles included). If we choose we can purchase additional warranty at the completion of the two years.

What do you recieve in your country of purchase?

For CAN/US, it's 4 years with 2 additional years of extended warranty available for $ But I believe CAN doesn't have the services for free?
For HK, it's 1 year with additional years available for $

The US warranty is for 4 years or 50,000 miles. Also "BMW provides a limited warranty for its 2004 and newer vehicles against defects in materials or workmanship which will result in rust perforation of the vehicle body for a period of 12 years, without mileage limitation"

Thanks for the info.

I guess that BMW doesn't place as much trust in their Aussie clients as those in the northern hemisphere (to quote that nanny show `It's not acceptable').

3 year unlimited mileage in the UK.

Also BMW emergency service for 3 years, 12 year unlimited mileage anti-corrosion and 3 year paintwork.

No free servicing, a service inclusive maintenance plan is available at extra cost.

BMW's pricing seems to be more competitive in the US. We have the option of 3 years/36,000 and 5 years/60,000 mile service inclusive packages at extra cost.
