check engine light

hey guys i started up the car today after a wash and i got this CEL

The e-brake light was also lit up in orange instead of red i tried engaging the e-brake and then disengaging it again but the light just switched from red to orange

I figured this would be the best forum to post in but if not Mods please move this thread

Thats not a check engine light, it looks like a traction control light.

Try pressing the DCT button and tell us what happens.
Try pressing it once, and holding it pressed for 5 seconds.

they probably just deactivated the stability control while trying to unlock your doors.

that's weird. get the dealer to check it out since it could be very dangerous to drive with the stability control tripping out. the only time i have had mine go crazy was when i damaged the suspension.

it happens when you unplug your battery.. have you done any mods recently that required the battery being unplugged?

Like the man said, turn the wheel lock to lock and the error should clear.
