How about his code? Tooth failure??

I has cruising around today under basically no load, but I found myself in the wrong gear, 5th or 6th at 30mph, I nudged the throttle, and as soon I realized I was lugging the engine I got the 1/2 engine light!!

I went home and plugged in the BT tool and got this:

2A96:
2A96 Crankshaft sensor, tooth failure
Error will cause a warning light
Error is not currently present
Test conditions have been completed
Short circuit or signal interruption

I cleared it the problem was gone, no probs, but is this common? What do you guys think? Is this related to Procede timing manipulation or just a wrong gear lugging phenomenon?

lugging the engine is bad, it will cause the piston flap

If the engine momentarily stalled from wrong gear selection, I suppose you could get a crankshaft related code. I've seen it happen with other cars. I'd just clear the code and go along my way.

2A96 crankshaft sensor, tooth failure

After I installed my Procede Rev 2.5 box I get the same error codes.
At full throttle at about 4000rpm the car starts to lose power and DCT gearbox put the gear in neutral. I get the following error codes: 10902 - 2A96 crankshaft sensor, tooth failure, 12544-3100 boost-pressure control, deactivation and 11170 - 2BA2 which I can not find what it means. If I disconnect Procede car works normally.

Is there anyone who has had the following error codes and can help me find a solution of the problem?
