Engine Clank

Hello guys well today i was getting ready to head out about 12 noon and started the car and i noticed a clanking sound coming from the engine was fairly loud and you can hear it, you can also hear it insde the car too. Also another question when i start my car cold or warm i get a whistleing noise coming some were close to the altanator idk wat the heck is going on. I figure the clank was from the valve liffters. The dealer bleed them once and it back even worse this time.

I also have a clicking noise from my engine. 06 330i. Does the N52 have hydraulic valve lifters as well? I know how to do valve adjustments on my e46 M, but can you adjust the N52 valves?

If the valve is clicking the hydraulic's aren't doing their job....They have to be adjustable. But can it be DIY?
