First BMW and its absolutely amazing! Flawless driving completely silent no rattles 60 mph feels like 35. Steering is very precise and sharp no complaints! just the light rattle when turning on and off the car. He lived in germany for awhile so hoping the fuel pump will last me a little longer then haha.

I saw the pics, very nice car. Congrats. I'm not sure about the rattle.

Congrats! As for the rattle, if it's a 6-spd (not sure about the automatic), it's pretty normal. Try holding the clutch in when you turn the car off. The rattle should go away. I don't think it hurts the car in either case.

If you're worried about it, definitely bring it in, though.

Enjoy!

Congrats! Nice car, nice deal!

If what you're asking about is the 'clunk' sound when you shutdown - that's normal.

I just never knew how amazing BMW's ride! All the magazines say there so rough on the road, to me it rides like butter, so smooth! My last car was a srt-4 and that rode 1000 times worse.

Sound went away thanks!! A lot of you say the common problem is rattles. I haven't heard even a squeak. Hope that doesn't start!!

wow shutting off in first, brilliant...

I know the rattles that the OP mentions while shutting off the car. I'm new to stick and didn't know if you can shut off the car in first or not... so it is safe to turn off the car in first gear? i usually shut the car off in neutral.

Last car=SRT-4. That's why this one is so amazing in comparison. No offense to the SRT-4 (I had Evos before and loved them!), but it's basically just about going as fast as you can for as cheap as you can. Sometimes priorities change (as mine did).

I am also loving the 335i at this point. Congrats on the find, it looks like you really got a great deal!
