I used Zymol on my '92 E36 and '95 M3 - sure did smell nice and was kinda fun to rub in by hand. Problem was ya had to do it every 20 minutes - didn't last long. Blitz wax on my black E39 - its a good wax.
This year I learned about Zaino for the first time and tried it on the E90 five days out from pick-up. Three coats later, wow - I'm really impressed, especially it holds up for 4-6 months like people say. Car looks better than the day I took delivery.

Ok im sure everyone has answered this question, but whats the sequence of products to use for zaino? I dont get this Z-2, Z-6..etc, whats the way to do it w/out taking hours, and to get a shiny finish w/out getting wayyyyyy into it (novice)..

Z2/ZFX, Z6, they are all different products within the Zaino family.
The toughest thing to learn is how LITTLE to put on. The vendor I bought from included about 10 pages of instructions, but I still had to ask some more questions. I now (after 3 coats) think it's all that AND the bag of chips. That first application, what with the clay bar and couple of washes, plus application of each products can make for a long day. After that, it's been cake. Wash, dry, apply the top gloss enhancer (Z6 or Z8) and wipe it down. With the relatively new car and TiAg, you probably don't need the Z5 (swirl remover) product. |
