Add 1L signal again after 3500kms of driving?

Today I was driving to work and about the time I got to my work place my idicator has the "add 1L" signal again. I remember it's not that long ago when I had this warning so I double checked it and found out last time I had to add 1L of motor oil was only 3500km before this time. Usually it's around 6000kms that I have this coming up. I wonder if anybody has experience the same problem. I will call my dealership tomorrow to ask them about this. @@
