Tasmania Roadtrip
Hey guys
Just got back from a 5 day roadtrip in the North West end of Tassie. If anyone's looking for good winding roads coupled with a great view of the ranges I recommend you make the trip over the Tasman sometime. Highlights included chasing down an Evo X back up Cradle Mtn Lodge and playing pace car to a Golf GTi between Queenstown and Craddle Valley. Routes worth taking are: Davenport - Cradle Valley via Oliver Road (bypassing Sheffield) Cradle Valley to Queenstown Craddle Valley to Sheffield and Mole Creek (lots of hairpins) Below pictures from the trip including a snap of a Porsche GT3 on route to Davenport to board the Spirit. |

DCT took a bit of getting used to at first. Never had an auto / dual clutch that behaved like a manual before.
After that it was great. Wore a bit of the front tyres due to some agressive cornering in Tassie but otherwise it drove and handled excellently. |

Great shots. I am sooo looking forward to mine... still waiting the arrival dates based on the fact that I'm waiting for the MY10 (total punishment). Certainly love the colour - Space Grey all the way! How do you find the mileage on the tank? Any chance you have some shots of your interior? |

Zenderm - its a naturally aspirated V8 so it's no prius. I get about 400kms in mix city and freeway driving on a full tank. Attached interior shot |

Your black with be easier to maintain overtime I'd imagine and if you have kids that's probably the better colour option. |

Hmmm no kids that I know of Junkie. I have been told by a few friends that I'll meet a girl soon enough... not that I have ever understood how to pick up a chick with a car? What do you do - drive past a cute one and ask her to get in? Haha
